Gambling is a form of entertainment and should be enjoyed in the same manner as any other leisure activity. That means the funds you use should come from the same budget as any other kind of recreational spend, like a meal in a restaurant or night on the town.
Below are guidelines and instructions on how to stay in control and maintain a balanced approach so that you continue to enjoy your experience. If at any point this stops, please be aware that we have a number of control tools that will help you combat your problem. There are also many confidential organisations where you can seek help and advice.
BoyleSports are committed to helping you stay in control so that you can continue to enjoy your experience here with us. The below options are available to assist you in gambling responsibly.
If you have any questions in relation to these options, please contact the Customer Service Team: Ireland: 1800 22 00 66 UK: 0800 22 00 66 International: +353 42 939 3168
Review your account history to keep track on your bets, transactions, withdrawals & deposits. Your balance is always available at the top of the screen when logged in.
Set yourself a budget that you're happy to spend on gambling by deciding how much you are willing and able to spend before you start playing. This will act as a safety net in case you should ever lose track of your spend.
You can set a personal daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit in the My Account section, under the Responsible Gambling tab. Daily limits reset at midnight every day, weekly limits reset every 7 days, and monthly limits are reset on the corresponding day each month on a rolling basis.
If you lower the amount of your deposit limit the change will become effective immediately. If you raise the amount of the deposit limit the change will be registered, however it will take effect at midnight the following day. UK users are required to reconfirm their limit increase via a pop up that will be received on log in after the 24 hours have elapsed. You can remove previously set deposit limits by updating the limit frequency to 'No Limit'. Removal of the deposit limit will also be subject to a time delay and require further confirmation from UK users.
You may find that a temporary deposit limit has been applied to your account by BoyleSports – if that is the case, you will need to contact us to increase it.
Another great way of managing your gambling budget is by setting a Loss Limit. You can set a personal weekly or monthly Loss Limit in the My Account section, under the Responsible Gambling tab. Weekly limits reset on the same day of the week that they were initially set (i.e. Tue to Tue, Wed to Wed), and monthly limits are reset on the corresponding day each month (i.e. 5th of each month).
Changes to reduce your Net Loss Limit will take effect immediately. If you choose to raise or remove it, a 24-hour cooling off period will apply before the change occurs (to remove a limit, enter no limit in the frequency above). Customers in Great Britain will also need to reconfirm their choice when the 24-hour period has elapsed. By confirming you are deciding to change your Loss Limit, your previous Loss Limit will no longer be valid.
Your net loss limit is calculated as deposits minus withdrawals during the Frequency chosen from the dropdown menu. It does not include your account balance before or during the Frequency chosen i.e. a Loss Limit is solely calculated on deposits minus withdrawals across all platforms. Once you reach your limit, it will temporarily restrict you from making further deposits into your account but will not prevent you from using your account balance.
You may find that a temporary deposit or loss limit has been applied to your account by BoyleSports – if that is the case, you will need to contact us to increase it.
Create an interval-based reminder to help alert you of the time you’ve spent playing. Available for UK customers only.
If you’re no longer enjoying yourself or feel that luck isn’t going your way, it might be useful to take a break from the games and reflect on your gambling experience. To take a break from only certain products for a longer period of time contact us with your request.

If you are a BoyleSports mobile user or Social Media follower, we advise you to take the necessary steps to prevent you from receiving content from us e.g. turn off notifications.
To take a longer break if necessary, you can self-exclude from all of our betting channels. This can be done in the My Account section, under the Responsible Gambling tab, otherwise contact customer service via phone on Ireland: 1800 22 00 66 UK: 0800 22 00 66 International: +353 42 939 3168, live-chat or email care@boylesports.com.
In the event that you exclude yourself, you will be unable to make any deposits to your account. Once the self-exclusion has been set, the account will remain blocked until the exclusion period has expired and we will do all we can to prevent new accounts being opened. You will also be removed from our promotional mailing list.

Banking transaction blocks
A number of banks can block payments to gambling merchants from their customers’ accounts. If you feel that adding some friction to the process of depositing funds with a bookmaker would help, using this may be of interest. If this is the case, we would encourage you to discuss this with your card issuer.
